Carol Jean (Cook) Hogan

Carol Jean Hogan, 91, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at East Lake Terrace in Elkhart.

Carol was born October 30, 1926 in Elkhart to the late Warren and Wilma (Walter) Cook.  Also preceding her in death was a brother, Carl Cook.

As Carol Cook, she married Robert D. Hogan on December 26, 1947 in Elkhart.  Robert died in October of 1992.

Surviving Carol is her daughter, Debra Hogan (fiancé, Garvin Roberson).

Carol was a homemaker for most of her life.  She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  An avid golfer, Carol was a member of the Ladies Elks and golfed in several leagues, including Christiana Creek Country Club and Four Lakes Country Club.  She also played in several bridge clubs and was an accomplished cook.

Visitation for Carol will be on Saturday, November 11 from 2:00 until the hour of the memorial service at 3:00 at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Elkhart County 54687 C. R. 19 Bristol, IN 46507.
