A whole year has gone. He is sadly missed. But he will always be remembered with love and the knowledge of the loving, gentle, godly man he was. God blessed him with a wonderful nuclear family, which made him very happy and of which I knew he was indeed very proud. God also gave him a brilliant mind which has been reflected in his progeny. He will always be remembered!

Dear Barbara

I was shocked to learn of Dan’s death. He was the first person hired to help me, a newly hired person in my research project. We worked well together and Dan contributed much to the project. The project was technically successful in showing the desired response. However, it was not accurate enough to be a useful clinical test. We ended the project without a product, he and I went on to other projects.

I do not remember working together on a project but we did see each other frequently and then occasionally after Dan left Miles/Bayer.

We have relocated to Maryland. Oleita volunteers at the local hospital and helps her brother, sister and brother-in-law. I developed cancer and in God’s providence, with the prayers of many people, have been in remission for three years. Although somewhat restricted in activities, Oleita and I have been able to distribute scriptures for the Gideons.

I pray that you will soon adjust to the changes of being without Dan.

To the family of Dr. Dr. David Morris, especially Mrs. Morris and Dr. Ena Farley with whom I am acquainted from my days at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, my heartfelt condolences. Having recently experienced the loss of my spouse, holding on to the memories of the good times will help you accept God's will. May you find peace and his soul find eternal rest.

I am terribly sad to hear of Dan't passing. I am out of the country and am doubly sad that I could not be there for his funeral and to give my condolences in person. I was blessed to have know and worked with Dan in the Spring of 2016 when we hired him at Goshen College. I'm thankful that after "retirement" he was able to work in his true passion, teaching, and the students benefited from his passion and expertise. Although we very much wanted him to continue working at Goshen, I understood when he wanted to take a full-time job in Michigan instead, and that he was following his passion for teaching. Although he was not at Goshen, I'm thankful he was able to do teaching full-time. My deep-felt condolences to everyone in the family for your loss.

Barb and family,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Dan's passing, as we hadn't heard that he was ill.
He certainly led a blessed life...not only with his family, but because of the many achievements and contributions that left his mark on this earth! Our prayer is that your sorrow will be eased with God's strength and that He will fill the hole in your heart with all the joyful memories your family shared!!

I am so sorry about the loss of Dan from this earth, but I am joyful knowing he is now in Heaven. I know Dan from teaching with him this past year at Southwestern Michigan College. He was welcomed by all in our college community and there is a collective sadness at his passing. In years past, I knew his wife Barb from her days at NIBCO, as my former husband also worked there. She was a joy to know and my prayers will be with her and Dan's family during this very difficult time.

Dan was a pillar in the community. He and Barbara followed us as delegates to Bayer. This could not have been easy for them, as it was not for us as well. Most of all, I recall Dan as a gentle man,who has left us far too early. Wish we could express our sympathy in person, but since we are in Arizona, this will have to suffice. Best to you, Barbara.
