I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond childhood memories of the "Harden" family get-togethers. I always looked forward to seeing Bob. He always had a smile on his face and always seemed to have such a good time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Jennifer

Bob Banker was my father's boyhood friend, they entered the US Army together to fight in World War II. Bob later became like an uncle to me during my youth in the 1950s and 1960s.

His Christmas celebrations were like no other and he made my childhood, especially around the holidays, a magical storybook experience. As a young boy, I remember so well being in his auto supply business along with my father and how fascinated I was with the myriad of auto parts he stocked - and the 5 cent glass bottles of Coca-Cola dispensed from his Coke machine. I caught my first Northern Pike at the lake; and remember so well spending time on the pontoon boat and being at the cabin on the lake.

Bob Banker was a fine, generous, compassionate, unselfish man who had a sincere heart. He will be so deeply missed, and my life is diminished by the passing of Bob Banker. May God bless your soul for eternity Uncle Bob.
