Kenneth M. Quarandillo

Kenneth M. Quarandillo, 78, of Elkhart, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital.

Ken was born on November 1, 1945, in Elkhart, IN to the late Anthony and Lillian E. Borrelli.  Also preceding him in death are a brother, Guy Quarandillo, a nephew, Rob Quarandillo and a brother-in-law, Larry Derr.

On February 10, 1979, in Elkhart, Ken married Karry Irwin.  Karry survives along with a sister, Margaret Derr of Naples, FL; a brother, Joseph (Judy) Quarandillo of Cape Coral, FL; a sister-in-law, Laura Quarandillo of Newaygo, MI; a nephew, Jayme Derr of Goshen and five nieces: Lisa Scholtes of South Bend, Lora Quarandillo of Elkhart, Lana Huff of South Bend, Jody Oswald of Elkhart and Kym Baker-Butler of Matawan, MI.

Ken graduated from Elkhart High School in 1963 and then attended the South Bend College of Commerce.  He worked for a number of years as the manager for Lochmandy Leasing and then as the business manager for Central Hardware, both in Elkhart.  He was a member of the Italian American Relief Association (I.A.R.A.) and the Moose Lodge #599 and was a former member of the Elkhart Elks Lodge #425.  An avid golfer, Ken scored several holes-in-one over the years.

No services have been scheduled at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
