My prayers and sympathy to all of Cheryl's family. My husband John J. Owens was a first cousin to Charlie. We were together at many of the owenses reunions and also visited in each other's homes. Many good memories of Cheryl and Charlie. I miss them. Agnes Owens, , also known as Aggie.

Mike and family. Just wanting you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember your Mother was kind and generous enough to let our College tennis team stay at her lovely home. A very kind gesture. I remember the lovely flowers. I did not know until I read the obituary that your mom was a master gardener and that all that beauty was due to her. It was outstanding.

I so enjoyed Cheryl and all of her talents. We did stained glass at the same studio. I still remember Cheryl inviting us to a lunch celebrating when her piece was installed in her home. She was so warm and entertaining! I visited her a few times after her stroke, and I was inspired by her great attitude. What a special lady! May your fond memories give you comfort and peace! May God bless you with his love and care!

I am so sorry for the families loss, Cheryl was a dear friend who I met and became close to through the then Elkhart Bonsai society. I am now one of the active members of the Michiana Bonsai study group who plans on keeping Cheryl's legacy alive through the society. She asked me at least once to keep it alive for her, I will happily do so. i purchased a few of her Bonsai Items at the sale we helped run a few years ago, those items take on an even more cherished meaning to me now. I'm so sorry I couldn't have been closer to Cousin Cheryl. I remember her visiting my parents several times in her many sojourns. May you have the peace that comes from the Lord Jesus.

We have fond memories of Cheryl from our years in Elkhart. She was an independent spirit who never met a stranger. We hope your memories will give you strength as you grieve the loss of her.
