David L. Antisdel, 63, of Elkhart, died at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital.
David was born on February 6, 1955 in Elkhart to the late Vincent and Ida (Campoli) Antisdel. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Antisdel.
Surviving are a sister, Judy L. Bell of Elkhart; one brother, Thomas A. (Lynn) Antisdel of Ft. Wayne; a niece, Sydney Antisdel; two nephews: Justin (Angie) Bell and Jason (Melanie) Bell and great niece and nephews Parker and Lindsay Bell and Bentley Bell.
A graduate of Elkhart Central High School, David also attended Ball State University and Ivy Tech. He was a machine operator employed through ADEC. He was a past member of the Jaycees and a former Boy Scout Troop member. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, he served as an altar boy as a child and was a Lector. David also played guitar at the guitar mass, volunteered as a Red Coat at Elkhart General Hospital and had performed with the singing and dancing group Up With People.
Visitation for David will be held on Monday, November 19th from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at noon at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. The Rev. Patrick Hake will officiate and burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.
