Alma H. Sigler, 84, of Elkhart died at home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Alma was born May 16, 1937 in Morganfield, KY to the late Clarence and Opal (Redd) Hopson.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

On December 20, 1959 in Morganfield, KY, she married Paul R. Sigler.  Paul died October 8, 2007.  Surviving is three daughters: Jean (Mark) Mellinger of Osceola, IN; Patricia Phillips and Linda (Daniel) Fine, both of Elkhart: seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one sister, Ann (Herbert) McFadden of Palmyra, TN.

Alma was a homemaker most of her life.  However, during the 1980's and the 1990's she was been employed by Planned Parenthood, Manpower, Bank One and Tiara Motorcoach.  She was a member of Trinity on Jackson where she was active in the choir as well as United Methodist Women, Bible Study, Naomi's Circle and the Walk to Emmaus Community.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of the Heartland Quilters Guild.

Visitation for Alma will be held on Saturday, January 22 from 11 am until the hour of the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm, all at Trinity on Jackson 2715 E. Jackson Blvd. Elkhart, IN 46516.  The Rev. Karen Koelsch will officiate.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
