Barbara A. Colpetzer, 92, of Elkhart died February 26, 2021 at her residence. Barbara was born March 12, 1928 in Elkhart to the late Frederick and Edna (Smead) Fedell.

Barbara married James Colpetzer on July 3, 1947 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2003. Barbara is also preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis DeFreese, Marilyn Dunfee, and Rosalie Replogle; a son-in-law, Brian Bradbury; and one granddaughter, Carrie Colpetzer. Left to cherish Barbara's memory are a son, James (Patricia) Colpetzer; daughters Cathy Bradbury and Julie (Enoch) Combs; brother, Richard (Karleen) Fedell; sister, Delores Kirkdorffer; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and the beauty in flowers. She was a member of the Elkhart Church of Christ, devoting much of her time to studying the Bible.

A service for Barbara will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1PM with an hour visitation prior at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  Chaplain Neil Davis will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Barbara's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association 50 E 91st St STE 100 Indianapolis, IN 46209-7830.
