Betty J. Roland, 71, of Elkhart, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Betty was born on June 30, 1945 in Knowlton, Louisiana to the late Herbert C. and Annie (Reese) Jones. On May 7, 1971 she married Richard R. Roland. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1988. She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Betty is survived by daughters, Deborah M. Jones, Elkhart, Diane Holt, Elkhart, Dawn Roland, Oconomowoc, MI, Terrie, CA, and Tammy Roland, Oconomowoc, MI; son, Gene Roland, Elkhart, Stuart Miller, Elkhart, and Ricky Roland, Oconomowoc, MI; sister, Bobbie Louise Hall, Tyler, TX; and a brother Louis R. Jones, Vivian, TX; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Betty was a driver with Morgan Drive-Away and National Convoy.
