Obituary

Beverly Ann Cramer, 91, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday morning, August 4, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born March 9, 1930 in Michigan to the late Ervin and Anice (Brown) Dunbar.

On January 25, 1947, Beverly married Mervin Leonard Cramer, her husband of 52 years, in Huntington, IN.  He died February 11, 1998.  Beverly is survived by her children Anice Cramer, Thomas (Debra) Cramer, Dennis Cramer; (Stephanie), eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

We take comfort in knowing that Beverly entered God's house greeted by her parents, Ervin and Anice Dunbar, her sister Verna "Jeanne" (Ledger Jr.) Kauffman, her daughter-in-law, Cindi Cramer, her grandchildren, Gary Cramer and Michael Cramer, her nephews James "Jim" (Debbie) Kauffman and Daryl Kauffman.

Beverly worked at Elcona Country Club for many years as the dining room manager.  She also worked at Sorg Jewelers for several years.  She enjoyed keeping up on her family's activities on Facebook and feeding and watching her birds.

The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Stephanie McCallum for the special care given to Beverly in her final days.

Private family services will be held and Beverly will be laid to rest next to Mervin at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.  A Celebration of Life Service is being planned for a later date.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions in memory of Beverly may be made to the Elkhart County Humane Society or the American Kidney Foundation.
