Carolyn (Hill) Brown, 65, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born February 25, 1953 in Elkhart to the late Ernest and Lente (Robinson) Hill, Sr.  Also preceding her in death was a brother, Ernest "Ernie" Hill, Jr.

Carolyn is survived by a son, Nicholas Blasio of Garrett, IN; four sisters: Dorothy Hill and Sharon (Terence) Hill, both of Elkhart, Estella (Curtis) Owens of South Bend, Cynthia (Richard) Schneider of Haslett, MI: one brother, Maurice (Darlene) Hill of Hampton, VA, one special sister-in-law, Debra Hill of Elkhart and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn graduated from Elkhart Central High School where she was a cheerleader and a track star, breaking several records.  She was employed as a teller for several local banks throughout her career.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  The Rev. Linda Barnes and the Rev. Michael Carpenter will officiate and burial will be in Rice Cemetery.
