Christine "Fox" Barnett passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 surround by family at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1947 in Edwards, Mississippi and born from the union of Marie (Hill) and John Henry Allen. Christine was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She was employed at CTS corporation for over 20 years. Christine loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to her blues and dancing. She had a magnetic personality that connect so many people to her and her sense of humor that was out of this world. Christine was proceeded in death her parents Marie (Hill) and John Henry Allen, sister Johnny Mae Walton and niece Valerie D. Young. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; Michael (Dawn) Allen of Elkhart, IN, and Marshall Allen and his fiancé Tomala Waddell of South Bend, IN; a devoted and loving daughter Kristi (Bruce) Barnett Dudley of Elkhart, IN; four loving sisters, Earnestine (Donald) Hackworth of Elkhart, IN, Betty Jean Allen of Elkhart, IN, Cleopatra Allen of Elkhart, IN, Louise Allen, of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Robert Allen, McKinley Wells and Derrick Allen all of Elkhart, IN, and 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren; one niece Angela (Pastor Jermaine) Pulliam, two nephews Johnny (Judith) Hence, and Jwan (Amy) Allen all of Elkhart. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service at 12 pm (Noon), Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Canaan Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
