Christine Branch, 88, of Elkhart died Friday, February 4, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Christine was born in Lilbourn, MO on November 5, 1933 to the late Spencer and Effie Irene (Taylor) Coggain.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents and three daughters: Darlene Branch, Doris Branch, and Virginia Branch. As well as her three siblings: Ossie Coggain, Robert Coggain and Nadine Lane. She is also preceded in death by her ex-husband William Branch.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Kenny Branch, Barbara Branch, William Branch Jr., Debra Branch, Robert Charles Branch, Bobby Branch, Gerry Branch. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Christine worked for many years at the YMCA in Elkhart as a Grandmother in the Child Development Center as well as when they moved to the new location at the Elkhart Child Development Center. When she wasn't working she loved spending time with her family.

A visitation will take place Monday, February 14, 2022 from 10am-12pm at Canaan Baptist Church with the service at 12pm. Pastor Mike Carpenter will be officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
