Delores M. Estes, 90, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Golden Living Center. Delores was born on February 28, 1925 in Elkhart to the late Elmer and Mildred (Ritter) Replogle. On December 24, 1941 she married Richard W. Estes Sr. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2012. Delores is survived by son, Stephen J. Estes and his companion Jacky Vermeulen, whom Delores treated like a daughter, South Bend; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great, great granddaughter, and sister-in-law, Joann Vance, Elkhart. Delores was preceded in death by son, Richard Estes Jr., sister, Margaret Barfell, and brothers, Ed, Wayne, and Frances Replogle. Delores was a lab technician with CTS for 29 years until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church and the CTS Quarter Century Club. Delores enjoyed cooking and going fishing. She was especially fond of her son's, dog, Charlie. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. David's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Henry Randolph officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Columbarium of the Cross at St. David's Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. David's Episcopal Church.
