Donald Everett Tom, 81 of Elkhart died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Donald was born in Elkhart on June 17, 1939 to the late Glen and Ruth (Replogule) Tom.

Donald was a military veteran having served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 210 in Middlebury. He was employed for many years as an engineer at Bull Moose Tube Company in Elkhart and was also a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Donald was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Elkhart.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tom; a daughter Jill Ann Tom and three siblings Glen Tom, Norma Tom and Betty Tom.

He is survived by his son; Chris (Sabine) Tom; his 2 grandsons, Zane Michael Tom and Joseph Tom, and one great grandchild; Alena Lia.

A graveside service for Donald will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1pm at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
