Donna L. Owensby, 56, of Elkhart died on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Donna was born in Elkhart on October 10, 1964 to the late Carolyn Owensby.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Swain of Goshen and three sisters: Leslie Gibler Braddock of Milford, IN, Barbie Gibler and Sheri Gibler Hiatt, both of Elkhart.

Donna was formerly employed by C & G Wire Harness. She was passionate about her faith and enjoyed quoting scripture from the Bible.  In her spare time, she collected stones and made jewelry.  She also enjoyed prospecting for gold, fishing and gardening. Donna would easily make friends wherever she went.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions in memory of Donna may be made to the charity of one's choice.
