Dwight J. Garber, 101, of Wakarusa, formerly of Elkhart, died on Monday, August 21st at Millers Merry Manor in Wakarusa.

Dwight was born on February 28, 1916 in Elkhart County to the late Jacob and Maude (Hoover).  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, LaMar and Nelson Garber.  He is survived by a niece, Loa Biek and several great nieces and nephews.

He was employed for many years with his brother, LaMar, at Garber Auto Sales.  Dwight also was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing the piano, having played at the nursing home regularly.

Visitation for Dwight will be Monday, August 28 from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at noon at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Goshen.

Memorial contributions in memory of Dwight may be made to the charity of one's choice.
