Eddy D. Tubbs, 64, of Union, MI died on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN after a brief illness.

Eddy was born on May 18, 1953 in Jasper, Alabama to Blaine and Reba (Eddy) Tubbs.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Tubbs.

On July 4, 1981 in Bristol, IN, Eddy married Lou Ann Greenawalt.  She survives along with his father, Blaine (Carolyn) Tubbs of Jasper, AL; a son, Michael Tubbs of Three Rivers, MI; two grandchildren, Carrie and Mika and two brothers, Perry Tubbs of Elkhart and Pat Tubbs of Evansville, IN.

Eddy and Lou Ann were the owners of the Whitetail Saloon in White Pigeon, MI.  This was the perfect line of work for Eddy as he loved being around people.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors.

Visitation for Eddy will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home.  The Rev. Keith McFarren will officiate and burial will be held at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.

Memorial contributions in memory of Eddy may be made to the American Lung Association.
