Eileen Fannin, 87, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at home.

Eileen was born on October 10, 1929 in Gas City, IN to Rollie and Mary (Raye) Huffman. On October 31, 1948, she married Dolan N. Fannin in Elkhart. He preceded her death on September 10, 2001 after 52 years of marriage.

Eileen is survived by daughters, Linda Ravenscroft House, Elkhart, Connie (Dennis) Malloy, Elkhart, and Mary (Robert) Lee, Myrtle Beach, SC; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandson; sisters, Margaret Buss, Osceola, and Clara Hartman, Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Rollie (Pam) Huffman, Houston, TX, Bobby (Linda) Huffman, Bristol, and Joe Huffman of Elkhart.

Eileen was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Eileen was formerly employed by C.G. Conn for 23 years and Selmer for 18 years before retiring.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, going to the beach, and reading. Eileen loved her family.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2017 at the funeral home, with Reverend Tim Lee of Southern Care Hospice officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
