She was born January 12, 1947, in Elkhart to the late Bob Feldan and Joan Barger. She was later adopted by her stepfather, Charles M. Arbogast, who helped raise her.
Emilie married Adolph Carl Tiedemann IV in Elkhart on October 1, 1966. Carl died May 14, 2022. Emilie was employed as the property manager for Tiedemann Realty Services, but she wore many hats within the company, doing whatever needed to be done. She was a proud member of the 1965 graduating class of Elkhart High School and always looked forward to her lunch meetings with the girls!
