Emma L. VeGar, 92, of Elkhart, died on July 9, 2022 at Elkhart Meadows. Emma was born June 18, 1930 in Etna Green, Indiana to the late Harry E. and Frances (Kester) Ganger. She married Allen VeGar on June 6, 1951 in South bend, Indiana.

Emma is preceded in death by her husband Allen and her daughter Tina Turner as well as two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children: John A. VeGar of Elkhart, Frances M. Brewer of Markle, Indiana, Rosemary L. Moore of Garrett, Indiana and Allene Cart of Elkhart. Emma is also survived by her sister Jacqueline Monger of California as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Emma loved gardening, BINGO and watching the birds. for her family. A visitation for Emma will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home in Elkhart from 1pm to 3pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm.
