Erma L. Edelman, 82, of Wakarusa, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor.

Erma was born on March 19, 1935 in Elkhart County to Vernon and Alva (Culp) Huber. On November 3, 1977, she married Leonard E. Edelman in Adamsville, MI. He preceded her in death May 20, 2003.

Erma is survived by a step-daughter, Delcena Lambdin, Elkhart; 1 step-granddaughter, Rochelle (Steve) Price, Elkhart; 2 step-great grandchildren; brother, Earl (Beverly) Huber, Wakarusa; sister-in-law, Barbara Huber, Goshen; nieces and nephews, Debra (Robert) Cunningham, Susan Chell, Karen (Denny) Mast, Steve (Ramona) Huber, Ron (Mary) Huber, and Jerry Huber.

She was preceded in death by a step-son, Leonard D. Edelman, and a brother, Carl Huber.

Erma was employed with Selmer's for 23 ½ years. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and was known to revel in the defeat of Notre Dame. She loved hummingbirds.

Friends may call from 3 pm until 6 pm, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:35 am for the 10 am graveside service, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Orville Banks officiating.
