Evelyn B. White, 93, of Bristol, passed away at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on October 26th, 2022.

Evelyn was born on June 13th, 1929, in Bristol, Connecticut to the late Lincoln and Frances (Brock) Frye. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Doug White of Chicago, Illinois, and Sam White, and her daughter Amy (Jeff) Carmien, both of Bristol, IN.

Evelyn was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart, Indiana. She thoroughly enjoyed her work as a library assistant and teacher's aide in the Elkhart Community School system.  She was an avid reader, often losing herself in a book in her spare time. She took up golf later in life and enjoyed those friendships. She could often be found tending to her flower gardens at home.

Memorial services will take place at a later date. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
