Floyd H Trosper, Jr., 74, of Elkhart, died on, Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born November 1, 1948, in Goshen, Indiana to the Floyd H and Phyllis (Curtis) Trosper.

Floyd is preceded in by his parents and two siblings, Sandy Grise and Shirly Pease.

Floyd is survived by his wife Karen Trosper, three sons, Brian (Michelle) Trosper, Brad Trosper and Blain (Christal) Trosper. He is also survived by four grandchildren and a sister Vickie (Bob) Queen.

After graduating high school Floyd attended Western Michigan University and then went on to Indiana University South Bend to earn a master's degree. In 1974, Floyed began teaching and was also the assistant football coach at New Prairie High School. He then became the head football coach of New Prairie High School and Athletic Director in 1981. In 1987, Floyd became the Principal at Jimtown High School, he retired after 18 years in 2005.  He was also inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 2003.

Floyd loved being on the water fishing, especially with his friends. Floyd also liked to golf and enjoyed watching football.
