Frances A. Myers, 100, of Elkhart, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Greenleaf Health Campus.

Frances was born on April 4, 1916 in Elkhart to Glen and Katherine (Castetter) Thunander. On May 30, 1941, she married Lawrence M. Myers. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2001. Frances is survived by daughter, Mrs. Robert (Anne) Eberhart, Columbus, OH; son, Robert L. (Kimberly) Myers, Naples, FL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Foley (David), Meghan Myers, David Eberhart (Regina), and Brad Myers; five great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Williams, Elkhart.

Frances was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Thunander.

A lifelong resident of Elkhart, Frances graduated from Elkhart High School, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked at C.G. Conn, and played trombone in the Conn Band. Her family and especially her grandchildren were her passion.

Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm followed by a memorial service, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
