Garry R. Laffoon, 58, of Elkhart, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at home. Garry was born on December 29, 1957 in Rensselaer to Wayne A. and Vivian (Branham) Laffoon. They survive. Garry is also survived by sons, Travis Laffoon, Elkhart, Ryan Laffoon, Noblesville, IN Eric Laffoon, Middlebury, Jason Laffoon, and brothers, Robert (Lynn) Laffoon, Elkhart, and Dwight Laffoon, Goshen. Garry was employed as a purchasing agent with Quality Steel and Aluminum. He was an avid outdoorsman. Garry enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. Garry loved collecting cars. Friends may call from 4 pm until 8 pm Monday, January 18, 2016 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Friends may also call from 12 pm (Noon) until the time of service at 1 pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
