Gary Allen Weiss, 73, of Goshen, IN passed away the morning of Wednesday, May 27, 2026 in Zionsville, IN.
He was born on January 26, 1953 in Elkhart, IN to Betty Jean (Bowman) and Frank John Weiss Jr.
Gary was the most incredibly devoted and loyal husband, father, and grandfather. He met his wife, Patricia “Patty” (Frost) Weiss, in the 7th grade, they got married at just 19 (in 1972), and through all those years, never had eyes for anyone else. Gary and Patty built a lifetime of love that grew to include three children and six grandchildren. Gary was a true family man—loving, fun, dependable, and hardworking. As a dedicated provider, he proudly followed in his father’s footsteps and worked at Conn Selmer and as an instrument repair/assembler technician for nearly 45 years.
Gary always cherished the time with his family and never missed an opportunity to have fun with his kids and grandkids. They were the light of his world. He was patient, gentle, and kind to all that knew him, but to his family, he was that and so much more - he was everything.
Gary passed away after a courageous journey with Lewy Body Dementia, but his heart always remained fully present for his family. Patty was by his side to the very end, and it brought him great comfort. Even as his health declined, his deep loyalty and love for his family never wavered. He will be missed beyond words.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patty, as well as three children, Erik (Brittany) Weiss, Kimberly (Benjamin) Cohen, and Carolyn (Shawn) Rosenberg; six grandchildren, Braylon, Lillian, Cecelia, Alexander, Jace, and Leighton; and two siblings, Frank Weiss and Myra Hargrove.
