Grant L. Goode, 54, of Elkhart, died Monday December 28, 2015 at home. Grant was born on December 8, 1961 to Robert W. and Colleen (Sackman) Goode. Grant is survived by his mother, Colleen Goode, Elkhart; sister, Keva L. VanZile (Rod), Elkhart; brother, Robert "Buzz" Goode, San Diego, CA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Goode. Grant attended Franklin College, where he played football. He enjoyed being with his friends and snow-mobiling. He was a hard worker. Grant was an avid sports fan of Notre Dame, the Cubs, Indiana University, and the Oakland Raiders football team. A celebration of life will take place from 1 pm until 3:30 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Grant's favorite restaurant, Flippin' Cow on Simonton Lake. Friends and family are encouraged to stop by to pay their respects.
