Joanne K. Voskuil, 71, of Elkhart, died on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born February 7, 1949 in Elkhart to the late Edwin and Elsie (Onkes) Eash Jr.

On April 5, 1975 Joanne married Arie M. Voskuil in Elkhart.  He survives along with her brother, Ronald Eash; a niece, Kristy (Roger) Rice and two great nieces, Sidney Rice and Lanie Rice, all of Elkhart.

Joanne was employed for many years at Stationer's in downtown Elkhart.  She was a 1967 Elkhart High School graduate and a member of the Christian Reformed Church in South Bend.  She and Arie had been attending Northside Baptist Church lately.  She enjoyed embroidery and keeping up with everyone on Facebook.  She was active with various church groups and volunteered with the American Red Cross.  Joanne and Arie were very involved with hosting foreign exchange students, housing twenty-one students over the years.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m. at the Northside Baptist Church 53198 C.R. 9 Elkhart where the Rev. Carl Henry will officiate.  Private burial will take place in Adamsville Cemetery.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
