Joseph Anthony Bickel, 70, of Elkhart died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Elkhart General.

He was born January 12, 1950 in Elkhart to the late Lawrence and Emma (Quarandillo) Bickel.

Joe married Marsha Mason on April 24, 1976 and started their family. Left to cherish his loving memory, are his wife of 44 years, Marsha; his son, Geoffrey of Elkhart; his daughter, Angela (Derek) Shafer of Elkhart; a sister, Marybeth Growcock; four granddaughters, Audrey, Emma, Aeris, and Willow; and  a dearly loved niece and nephew.

Joe was employed by Michiana Linens for 30 years.  He was a diehard Cubs and Bears fan. Enjoying history, he was an excellent trivia partner at Heinnie's.  Joe also enjoyed golf.

Visitation for Joe will be held on Tuesday, December 8th from 6 pm until the hour of the memorial service at 8 pm at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  The Rev. Keith McFarren will officiate.  Private family interment will take place at a later date.
