Lemond Charles Tuggle, 69, of Elkhart, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Lemond was born on April 30, 1948 in Elkhart, Indiana to James Charles Tuggle and Nora M. Butler, who both preceded him in death.  Lemond is survived by his only sister, Norieta Tuggle of Elkhart, IN and his only daughter Detris Jeaneal Hudson of Houston, TX. He is also survived by an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lemond served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. During his service he was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After his service he returned to his home town of Elkhart where he worked as a buffer at Selmer.

Lemond was a loving brother and father who was always willing to help his friends and family in a time of need. He had an infectious laugh that would light up a room every time he entered. His loving spirit will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at noon on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.
