Linda Freeman, 72, of Elkhart, went to her eternal glory on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Trail Point Village in South Bend.

Linda Was born on September 1, 1945 in Elkhart, to Willie and Gladys (Brown) Hansborough.  She attended Wilberforce University and then worked at White Hall for 23 years.  She was a member of St James AME Church where she volunteered at the Lords Cupboard and Pantry, as well as the Daughters of Hanna.  She was also quite fond of playing bingo.

She is survived by her Daughter, Kimberly Richardson (Sean) and Son, Marcus Johnson, Both of Hampton, GA. Brother, Edward Hansborough, Las Vegas, Sister, Francis Anderson, Elkhart, Grandchildren, Kryshana Houston, Sydney Richardson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Gene Freeman, and Brothers:  William, Cecil, and Gregory Hansborough.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, from 5-7 PM at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Friday, December 29, at St James AME Church at 2 PM.  Burial will be at a later date.
