Louise Barber, 88, of Elkhart, IN passed away the afternoon of Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Riverside Village, Elkhart.

Louise was born on November 10, 1936 in Mayfield, KY to the late John Jones and Emma Martin.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Lester, Unice Lester, and Bobby Bomar. She is survived by her sister, Tishie Horton, as well as nieces and nephews.

Louise was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service for Louise will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 West Franklin Street, Elkhart, IN 46516, with visitation for one hour prior. Louise will be laid to rest at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart, IN.
