Lynne E. Miles, 80, of Elkhart died on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at StoryPoint Adult Living Facility in Granger.

Lynne was born on December 26, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dr. Herbert L. & Phyllis M. (Borger) Cormican.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery and Michael Miles and a grandson, Miles D. Rinehart.

On May 4, 1962, Lynne married Lawrence E. "Larry" Miles in Indianapolis.  Larry died September 25, 2012.  Surviving are a daughter: Julie (Marcus) Rinehart of Dekalb, IL; six grandchildren: Matt Nusbaum, Kelly (Matt) Johnson, Jack Miles, Logan Miles, Maddie Rinehart and Joseph Rinehart; three great grandchildren: Jordan, Ace and Gray.  Also surviving are two sisters; Susan Mann of Merritt Island, FL; Mary Ann (Dr. Jeffrey) Cain of Bristol and two brothers: David (Betsy) Cormican of Goshen and James (Margaret) Cormican of Elkhart.

Lynne was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Elkhart where she served for many years on the Altar Guild.  She was also a member of Tri Kappa, PEO and volunteered for many years for Meals on Wheels.  Lynne was an avid Indiana University and Blue Blazer fan.

Visitation for Lynne will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 3rd at St. John's Episcopal Church where the Rev. Terri Peterson will officiate.  Burial will be in Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
