Marilyn M. Darling, 90, of Elkhart died on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born July 3, 1930 in Elkhart to the late Esco and Hazel (Drudge) Busenburg.  She was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

On August 29, 1948 she married Charles D. Darling Jr.  He died September 24, 1993.  Surviving are three sons: Charles (Melissa) Darling III of Madiera, OH, Christopher (Joyce) Darling of Surprise, AZ and Timothy Darling of Elkhart, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Marilyn spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising three young boys.  She was employed for a number of years in the credit department at Selmer's.  She was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Elkhart.

A Celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at a later date and her cremains will be placed next to her husband's in the columbarium at St. John's Episcopal Church. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
