Mary Anne Grady, 64, of Elkhart, died unexpectedly February 22, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. Mary was born December 22, 1951 in Tallulah, Louisiana to Percy and Roberta (Giles) Brown. Mary is survived by her mother, Roberta Conner (Robert), Sacramento, CA; her companion, John Curtis, Jr., Elkhart; daughters, Carrie Fair and Ronnie Williams, both of Sacramento, CA and Lolita Brown, Dowagiac, MI; son, Ricky Grady, Elkhart; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Davis, Sacramento, CA, and Berniece Abdul Rahman (Albert), Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Percy Brown, Jr., Roy Lee Brown, and Ronnie Earl Brown. She was currently employed with McDonalds part-time. Prior to McDonalds, Mary Anne was employed in the home health care field. Friends may call from 12 (Noon) until the time of service at 1 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home with the Reverend Nichols Cossey, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
