Obituary

Michael E. Krauser, 73, of Elkhart died at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

He was born May 3, 1948 in Elkhart to the late L.F. Edward and Winifred A. (Brady) Krauser.  Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Bessie Mason and Kris Ball.

Mike was employed by Richardson Homes until his illness prevented him from working any more.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. Mike was a member of the Good Guys Rod and Car Club, the NSRA (National Street Rod Association) and always enjoyed attending street rod car shows where he exhibited his own 1937 Dodge Coupe.  He enjoyed playing euchre, following NASCAR and loved watching old Western movies.

Surviving Mike is two sisters: Bonnie (Carl) Esch of Goshen and Kathy (Keith) Hartman of Blairsville, GA and one brother, Dan (Betty) Burner of Howe.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, November 18th from 11 am until the hour of the service at 12 noon, all at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Chaplain Dale Welling of Grace Hospice will officiate and burial will be in Rice Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.
