Nedra B. Stauffer, 104, of Elkhart died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law. She was born in Ligonier on October 25, 1917 to the late Price and Margaret (Nicholas) Chiddister.

Nedra graduated Ligonier High School in 1935. She married George Stauffer on December 19, 1938 and celebrated over 55 years of marriage. George preceded her in death on October 8, 1995.

Nedra is a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was an executive secretary for Miles until her retirement. Nedra loved gardening and enjoyed shopping.

Four generations are left to cherish Nedra's memory, her sons, Rick (Karen) Stauffer and Kent (Sherry) Stauffer; daughter, Sandra Brinson, all of Elkhart; twelve grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. Nedra is preceded in death by her parents, husband George, and three brothers, Harry, Howard, and Merle.

The funeral service for Nedra will take place Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11AM with an hour of visitation prior to the service at Hartzler-Gutermuth- Inman Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.
