Ola M. Terry, 87, of Elkhart went home to be with The Lord October 10, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Ola was born to the late Robert Albert Fields and Mattie Mae (Arnold) Fields Mayfield in Trenton, TN on October 1, 1933.

After attending Rosenwall High School in Trenton, Ola moved to Elkhart in 1951. In 1960 she married Clard T. Terry. Ola was a member of the NAACP and AGAPE Missionary Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, Ola is preceded in death by her husband, Clard; a brother, Oliver Fields; and two sisters, Jenny Cartwright and Ruby Curry.

Left to cherish Ola's memory are her sister, Mary Davis; four brothers, Robert, James, Elmer, and John Fields; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A service for Ola will be at 2PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at AGAPE Missionary Baptist Church with a visitation one-hour prior to service. Reverend Dannell Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman are assisting with arrangements.
