Olive Janice M. Bell, 96, of Elkhart, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Hospice House in Elkhart.

Olive was born November 2, 1921 in Shelbyville, IN to the late William Lloyd and Sarah Marion Mallory.  Also preceding her in death is a son, Stephen L. Bell.

She moved to Elkhart in 1954 and was employed as the secretary to the president of Miles, Inc. (now Bayer) and retired after 32 years of employment.

Surviving are a sister, Betty Williams of Shelbyville, IN and two nephews and their families.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Cremation has taken place.  Olive will laid to rest in the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
