Patricia Banks Miller, 92, of Elkhart, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital.

Patricia was born May 17, 1931, in Elkhart to the late Glen and Olga (Peterson) Banks.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Banks Miller, in 2017.

She married Robert Barrett Miller in Elkhart in 1955.  Robert died on January 21, 1988.  Patricia is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a 1948 graduate of Elkhart High School and was self-employed as an interior decorator.  She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart.  Pat loved children and her dogs. The role she enjoyed the most was being a mother to Melissa.  She will be missed greatly by her family.

Graveside services for Pat will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 2:30 at Rice Cemetery.  The Rev. Dr. Sally Wicks will officiate services.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
