Patricia Jayne Ortell, 95, of Elkhart, died Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart. She was born October 30, 1927 to the late Herbert J. and Velma (Fitzsimmons) Munsch. She married Albert L. Ortell on July 2, 1948. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1991.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters: Nancy (Greg) Goldy of Elkhart and Karen (Otis) Miller of Goshen. Four grandchildren: Nick Goldy of Indianapolis, Carolyn (Djoko) Tasich of Granger, Andrew (Kayla) Miller of Middlebury and Adam (Kim) Miller of Rochester, Minnesota. As well as four great-grandchildren: Tobais Tasich, Fitz Miller, Mazie Miller and Sadie Miller.

Patricia was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church on Jackson. She loved to play cards and to go out and travel. She would winter in Florida most years and she's even traveled to many parts of the World. Patricia was a member of the Married Women's Club and part of the Hospital Auxiliary. She retired from Chiphone Credit Union as one of their bookkeepers. Patricia was also the oldest living graduate of Hawthorne Elementary School.

A visitation for Patricia will be held from 10AM – 12PM at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5, 2023, followed by a Memorial Service at 12PM at the funeral home.

Pat's daughters would like to thank Kathy Wingard for her devoted and loving care for Pat during her last few years and to the staff at Greenleaf Health Campus for their care during her last year.
