Patricia A. Rumbaugh, 64, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at Elkhart Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born September 1, 1953 in Cloverdale, AL to the late Willie and Johnny Hayes.  Also preceding her in death were two sisters and two brothers.

As Patricia Hayes, she married Bill Rumbaugh in Elkhart in 1973.  He survives along with a daughter, Shannon Rumbaugh; two sons, Billy (Brandy) Rumbaugh and Ben Lee Rumbaugh, all of Elkhart; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Rachel (Mike) Hayes Morgan and one brother, Kenneth (Verlin) Hayes, both of Elkhart.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was formerly employed at United Roll Forming for many years.  She was a member of the Elkhart County Community Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, working on her yard and going to garage sales.  She was especially fond of her grandchildren.

Visitation for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, May 8th from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 11:30 a.m.  The Rev. Ed Ritchie will officiate and burial will be in Olive East Cemetery in Elkhart County.
