Penny (Gertrude) Manfredi, 90, of Elkhart, died from complications of Alzheimer's on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at home.

Penny was born on October 13, 1926 in Crawford County, Indiana to the late Thomas and Mayme (Apple) Parks. On January 21, 1956, she married Joseph A. Manfredi in St. Joseph County, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2010. Penny is survived by a son, Joseph L. (Julie) Manfredi, Elkhart, and brothers Harold Parks, Indiana, and Carl Parks (Margaret), Colorado Springs, CO.

Penny was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Penny graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Indianapolis, IN.

At Penny's request, private family services were held.
