Robert L. "Bob" Terry, 80, of Elkhart, died on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Bob was born January 24, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Robert L. and Rose Ann (Denison) Pierce.

For the majority of his life, Bob lived and worked in Austin, TX.  He was employed in the legal field, doing research on real estate and title work for attorneys in Austin and the surrounding communities.  He also served in the United States Air Force and was an animal lover.

Bob is survived by his brother, Carl L. Terry of Elkhart; several nieces and nephews: Patrick (Lisa) Terry and family, Michael (Ramona) Terry and family, Coleen A. Pegura and family; great nieces: Erin Rutledge, Amanda Folan, Sharon Terry; great nephews: Isaiah Terry, John Hardigan, C. Matthew Terry and Zachariah Pegura.  He is also survived by his friend, Jennifer Matchette and his four-legged friends, Adakus and Rosie.

Graveside services for Robert will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Rice Cemetery on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  The Rev. Dr. Art Baisch, a good friend of Bob's, will officiate.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
