Rochad H. Washington, 41, of Elkhart died December 17, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born July 31, 1979 in Elkhart to Roosevelt and Vivian E. (Sanders) Washington.

After graduating high school, Rochad received his associate of arts degree from Ball State University. He enjoyed all sports, but especially football and basketball. Rochad worked in the RV business as an electrical technician for Heartland R.V.

Left to cherish Rochad's memory are his parents, Roosevelt Washington of Elkhart and Vivian Washington of Elkhart; two sons, Rochad Washington of Lepanto, AR and Rylan Washington of South Bend; a daughter, Rashyia Malone of Mishawaka; girlfriend, Donesha Paul of South Bend; two brothers, Gene Sanders Sr. and Michael (Thuy) Washington, both of Elkhart; a sister, Tamela (Kevin) Smith of Pennsacola, FL; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that loved him dearly.

A visitation for Rochad will be held on Sunday, December 27th from 5-7 at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28th at noon at the Omega Event Center 2130 Middlebury St. Elkhart.  Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.
