Ruby E. Fry, 96, of Elkhart, died on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Hospice House in Elkhart.

She was born on January 8, 1924 in Elkhart to the late Albert and Ethel (Poston) Hein.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Fry Jr., a grandson, Christopher Fry, a sister, Mary Hein-Runyon, and a brother Howard Hein.

As. Ruby E. Hein she married Donald Fry Sr.  He died in 1985.  Surviving are a daughter, Becky Humes of Chandler, AZ; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and one brother, Lawrence Hein.

Ruby retired in 1986 after being employed for many years at CTS.  She was a member of the Quarter Century Club and enjoyed bowling.  She was also a very faithful and active member of the Riverside Bible Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 5:00 p.m. at Riverside Bible Church 600 Myrtle St. Elkhart, IN.  Pastor Joe Rager of Riverside Bible Church will officiate services.  Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
