Sally Irene Boyer, 83, formerly of Elkhart, passed away peacefully in her home in Avon Park, FL on January 28, 2017.  Sally has been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since coming from Elkhart in 2001.

Sally was born on October 18, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Boyer and her parents, Clarence and Irene Enkoff.

Surviving are her children; Bob (Diane) Boyer of Minneapolis, MN, Mike (Kelly) Boyer of Elkhart, Steve (Tracey) Boyer of Elkhart: grandchildren; Corey (Carrie) Boyer, Jake Boyer, Mitchell Boyer, Will Boyer and Sydney Boyer; two great grandchildren, Alexandra and Jackson, a brother, John (Barb) Enkoff and a sister, Sue Lype.

Sally enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing cards, telling stories and traveling.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Skilled in interior designing, Sally also worked for many years in the floral design industry.

The Boyer family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Good Shepard Hospice of Sebring along with the aides from Senior Tender Care for all of their kindness and help during this difficult time.  And, an extra thank you to John and Barb Enkoff, Margie Miller and friends in the Crystal Lake Community.

Visitation for Sally will be held on Saturday, February 25th from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following at noon.  The Reverend Keith McFarren will officiate.
