Sharon F. Cooper, 72, of Elkhart, died Saturday, January 09, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa. Sharon was born on May 8, 1943 in Concord, Kentucky to Ernest H. and Helen (McKee) Truesdell. On September 14, 1968 she married Jack R. Cooper in Elkhart. He survives. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Rebecca D Cooper (Jeremy Place), Grand Rapids, MI; Sisters, Betty Vance, Vanceburg, KY, Ellen Burroughs (Jack), Worthington, KY and a brother, E.H. Truesdell, Jr. "Bud" (Roseanne), Ashland, KY. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Helen Truesdell and a sister, Lois Lacy. In 1961, Sharon graduated from Raceland High School in Kentucky. She was a secretary tech at Elkhart General Hospital. Sharon was also a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and reading her Bible. There will be no visitation or services.
