Sheryl Janet Welch, 68, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Elkhart, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. Sheryl was born on March 27, 1947 in Elkhart to Samuel and Olita (Kiser) Cowell. Sheryl is survived by her husband, John Welch; sons, John Welch (Jennifer), Scott Welch (Tanya) both of Ocala, FL and Robert Welch, Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sheryl was preceded in death by a daughter, Jody Welch in 1972, sisters, Norma Seeland, Sandy Hilton, Sally Morrison, and Connie O'Dell, and a brother, Jim Cowell. Sheryl was a homemaker and a member of Life Tabernacle Church. Friends may call from 11 a.m., until the time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Life Tabernacle Church with Reverend Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
